It has been 108 years, but the curse has finally been broken! This week the Chicago Cubs won the World Series for the first time in over a century. The world has changed a LOT since then, and we thought it would be fun to put together a tour that shows what Chicago looked like back in 1908. The turn of the last century was an interesting time for cities, with cars driving down Monroe Ave. and Vienna Sausages being delivered by horse and buggy. Celebrating Chicago with this little bonus tour is our way of saying congrats to a city definitely that earned it!

Special thanks to Chicago History Today, Chuckman’s Nostalgia and Memorabilia and The Exile Bibliophile blogs for posting some of the images we used and providing some very helpful info!
